Conflict as Holy Ground (English)

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia

Date & Time: June 15, 2-8pm

In spite of many theological and political divisions within the Slovak Church (as there are everywhere!), many Christians are questioning the escapist and belief-oriented theologies that have been inherited from the West.

The Slovakia Missions Network invites members and key leaders of the Slovakia Protestant Church in to attend two workshops: “Conflict as Holy Ground” and “Peacebuilding as Good News?” These workshops introduce how peacebuilding relates to God’s mission and how it is central in how Christians understand the Good News and witness. They also open the floor for more conversation about how a healing-oriented mission and shalom vision connect much more deeply with both people’s spiritual intuitions (especially of younger generations) and a better read of what God is doing through Jesus and throughout the Bible.
